A Family Christmas Story


To me, Christmas is not about all the THINGS but 
about the LOVE that God has given us.


 

I created this cool GIF today using a meteor to represent
the Star of Bethlehem.

We then lit up our porch for Christmas and remember
that it was on this night, that God gave his son for us.

 

was fun getting ready for Christmas, Christmas shopping,
decorating our porch; decorating the tree and driving around
seeing the Christmas lights.

 

I took this video of "Christmas Tree Lane"

in Pasadena / Altadena.

 
Joy is all about the things that God so freely gives us too...
like our cute dog Kiba. My wife and I both think he
looks more like Winnie the Pooh (lol!). 

 

I wanted to remind everyone about the story of the
Grinch who stole Christmas.

It's about a nasty ol' Grinch who thought
Christmas was all about getting gifts - till one day,
little Miss 'Cindy Lou Who' loved on him and
helped him see what Christmas
was really all about.

I painted the story on a real estate
business's window. It was a lot of fun!

 

My wife dressed up as Santa's helper elf and made me laugh!

 

Christmas shopping at the mall brought us 
into contact with a giant Christmas tree we 
could walk through (haha!)

 

We were waiting for Santa Claus but the closest
we got was this video somebody took. ;)

 

Staying at our hotel was really great. It was
exciting to get away from home, and see the snow
coming down and heard something clattering
sometime in the night (lol!).

 

 

 We found this BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree at the Pasadena
City Hall (which looks slightly like St. Paul's, London with its
cylindrical roof.
